I was sitting on my back deck this evening and couldn't help but notice all the Dogwoods blooming up and down the ridge. Our deck is about 8 feet off the ground and overlooks a big draw. The white blossoms sprinkled all through the woods were just gorgeous. The other trees are just starting to leaf out so you can see forever. I told my wife "Cub ober heyar ab loob ut thu tees bloomey awl ober." I guess the pollen in the air is the price you pay for living in the woods. ;D

The woods are lovely dark and deep but once they get leafed out, the view off my back deck stops just past the yard we are hacking out of the wilderness. And I left a 5 gallon bucket with about 30 minnows in it on the deck and a Racoon ate them all Sunday night.
