I don't usually get to put the bird to roost so I don't carry a blind with me. I locate call and set up a make-shirt blind with foliage from the area.
If I'm bow hunting for the birds I like to use a climbing stand and have a partner call from the ground. It reduces the chance of Ol' Longbeard busting me during the draw.

Last year Steeforce and I had to run about a mile and a quarter just to get in front of a henned up gobbler. Glad I wasn't carrying a blind that day.

I have a excaliber blind that I bought in 06 during the thanksgiving day sale. My brother-in -law and I used it on our lease last yr and we had them come within 5ft of it and it didnot bother them.

Let me make a correction I used to have a excaliber blind. Someone stole it off our lease in the last few weeks. My Brother in law went out there sunday and it was gone. Oh well I hope they have fun with it.

Just because he only had one eye doesn't mean he was blind. He just had to turn his head more often to get a better range of sight. Lucky for me his concentration was on something else when he came by me.
