Anyone been out to look for Shed Antlers this year? I found a left antler late season which indicates a good buck made it through the season. It was dropped in early 2007 by the looks of it. I know nobody shot anything like it on the land we hunted. Makes me look forward to next season.
It was a 4 point frame with good mass, 22+ legth and a G1 that is over 11 Inches in length. I think my friend saw him this season but couldn;t get a shot.

I was out this morning with my brother in law and we were looking and shooting crows but did not find any antlers. Saw 6 does running around though.

I am still seeing plenty of deer sporting their head gear. If you have some land you might try some shed catchers. Cut a hog panel in half then bend one half 90 degrees stake it down with 2 or three t-posts and dump some food in close to the bottom of the v. when deer come into eat thef horns will rub on the hog wire and if the horns are close to falling off then youll have some nice souveneirs.
