That was a fun hunt. Turned out pretty well for us, too.

Summer is easier. Just find a wallow and they will be there soon. Easy as that.

i like summer cause food sources are more predictable winter wheat, haygrazer, and milo starts toppin out. find the food find the pigs.

sounds good.., I thought it would be harder to pin-point food sources cause everything is tall and green.. The milo makes sense.. You all snag this one off of Barnes??
I drove down the milo field road a couple weeks ago and there was one set of tracks that was huge goin' onto Barnes place. Summer time usually means repopulation time for the piggies, I think they don't get jacked with as much as they do in winter..

sorry to bug you with all the questions, but do you use tick spray?, or do you use a thermocell?? Those little buggers kill me this time of year when i get out in the woods.. I can only imagine how many you'd get while hunting hogs.. If you got a thermocell how well does it work? Next time you guys go give me a shout.. I got permisson on all that limestone land around there, I was over in the area opening weekend of turkey season they were in on some of them places, there's one tiny draw they stay in up on top of a hill, it would be a slaughter fest.. they go from the draw to the cattle feeders.. i'm down to kill a pig any day, there's some good places over there, just let me know a couple days ahead so I dont piss off the wife..
