This season is one of the most visible ruts i have seen in 3 or 4 years.. I have seen more trophy bucks in the middle of the wide open this year.. There will be alot of deer fall this weekend, i mean alot.. big bucks too..

Didn't work out to well for me this weekend. I see 20 to 30 deer every night I work, with the majority of them right after daylight. I've gotten 3 bucks on video that would make a nice addition to any wall. Just can't seem to see any when I'm not on the road.

Saw a 180 class buck the Saturday before season on the Evans property that meets up with hardins on the south east corner. Got a video of him chasing a doe.

Here's a link to the video. See if you might have gotten just a little bit exited, too. Click on this gray blob and it should take you to it.

It's not a very clear video, but he was a main-frame 12 with several kickers. His body was huge. I figure he would have dressed at around 245 lbs. Beautiful buck, hope your dad or uncle get a shot at him.

That's where I was. I've seen him in the area a few times a month since he was a slick top. He's usually in the field straight south of Hardin's place. Did you ever get those trail cams out there? If you get that guy call me. I have got to get picture of that kill. Good luck.

I'm sure he only comes out in daylight during the rut. If not someone would have gotten him by now. Someone is hunting the field he was in lately.
