I hope the rut will be in full swing by then, I live in Lincoln County and have not seen much activity yet. I have not been out this week though too much work.

that buck i shot the day after powder season was rutting pretty good i could smell him from a pretty good distance to and that was just northwest of carney about 3 miles. but I havent seen any others ruttin it up.but a nice rub/scrape line just showed up along a creek where i am huntin

I think rifle season will hit during the last part of the rut this year. saw some bucks chasing both necks looked a little swollen.

Saw a big bodied spike sunday afternoon. He was chasing some gal and thought about getting out in traffic but decided to go back in the woods.
