what shotgun do you use for turkeys??
I use a benelli nova for turkeys now, and its having a problem kicking out the last shell coming out of the tube to reload, and it jams.. its ok for turkey hunting cause i only need one shot, but i duck hunt alot and its a pain with it jamming... I love the pattern it has for turkeys though.. I have been kicking around the idea of buying a new gun.. maybe a semi-auto.. anyone got any good reviews on any.. I was thinking maybe a mossberg 935 or a Stoeger(made by benelli) semi-auto.. if i had the money I'd get a super black eagle, but thats a little steep for me..

apexpredator just got a pump Stoeger and it is awesome. Myself, I would go with the 935. I have shot one several times with no jams. Plus it takes about 50% out of the recoil of the 3 1/2 inch mags with the heavy buffer spring. Not to mention it just looks good.

Ya thats what I was thinking , they are pretty reasonable too.. The stoeger pumps are pretty much a nova with a different name.. I think im gonna go with the 935, the stoeger autos only handle up to 3'' shells..

I have never had a complaint about my Remington 1100. Extra barrels make changing the application a 2 minute job. If you want MAgnum stuff they make it in a 3" chamber as well but call it a 11-87 or something. THe only time it has ever jammed on me was after an angry Lab buried t while I was goose hunting.

I plan on getting myself 935 sometime it the future. I don't think you can beat them for a hunting gun. Plus, if you ever deer hunt Illinois or Iowa (or some other state that doesn't allow the use of modern rifles) you can get a rifled slug barrel that's tapped for scope mounts.
