I use a Mathews SQ2 that I bought the first day it came out. I use 100 grain 4-blade Muzzy broadhead on goldtip arrows. I use a High Country sight bracket with 6 fiber optic pins set at ten yard increments from 20 to 70 yards. I know 70 yards is a long ways for a bow, but with good light conditions and no wind I get a 4 inch shot group with this rig.

I use a Mathews Mustang that my daddy bought me. I will be using a beautiful set of GT 3555s with 85 grain broadheads. I have Tru Glo sites and a Limbsaver stabilizer. I use a whisker biscuit rest. I also have a 5 arrow soft-lock Alpine quiver. Mine is set up with a string loop and I use a Tru-Fire wrist release.

dominant bucks and boss gobblers always distinguish themselves from the herd or flock. and big fish swim alone.

I was thinkin about buying a new pse. but i think that Im gonna stick with the one I got and build myself a long bow. Going back to traditional I think would add a little something to the hunt. How awesome would it be to take a deer with a tree that you cut and shaped. and hand made cedar arrows.

It has a long streth of beautiful straight grain that should make some nice staves. I'd be glad to share a few for some help making a self bow.

Stupid Typos. If you can't make any sense of that last post, what I was trying to say is I have a big red oak tree that should make a barrell full of nice staves. I would gladly trade some for advice and guidance on building a self bow.

I am a rookie in the self bow department but i know a guy in Stillwater that builds boatloads of em if i get any good tips I'll pass em along. He did tell me to shorten drying time cut them in the winter when the saps down and paraffin the cut ends. Then put it in your attic for about a year to properly dry the wood.
