Any suggestions? It is a on demand feeder, no timer. Don't want to go blasting as you can see the deer use it too. Has anyone had luck with the live traps?

Colesdad,
We have been having problems with racoons stealing eggs. So, we got a live trap and baited it with a egg a night, We have caught 5 coons all together, Mommy Daddy and kids. The live traps work great.

Thanks, I guess I'll have to give it a try. Just so happened after I posted this, I noticed the ads by Google area right above and what do you know, TRAPS!
A biologist friend of mine said that coons, 'possum, skunks, and armadillos are a huge part of our declining quail population because they raid nests so often.
Has anyone heard what the going price for coon pelts is?

I use chunky dry dog food to bait live traps for Coons. It works good.

i know alot of people who use live traps and once you trap them then if you know any coon hunter you can help them keep their dogs up to par
