Goin bowhunting out west the weekend after blackpowder, do you guys have any suggestions on a WMA that would set up good for bow hunting..?? I have hunted canton and its ok... wanting to try somewhere different..
I know some of you have turkey hunted out at Black Kettle/Packsaddle area, also thinking about Sandy Sanders, Cimarron Hills and Cimarron Bluff..

Whats the terrain like??? would it be worth bowhunting?? My brother and I are used to hunting WMAs for turkeys alot, we like to get out and walk a ways away from other people.. With the deer out cruising and chasing, they could be anywhere.

you cannot gun hunt cimarron hills, or cimmaron bluff, its archery only, they're goin to open it up on the controlled hunts to gun in the future..

Cooper is really open Ft supply has some good areas along the lake for bow. When I go out that way I look on google earth and find the funnels. Ecspecially if your gonna take a bow.

that's excatly what I've been doing... There's some timber w/cottonwoods along river a mile from any parking that I'm gonna check out, the lake area does look very good though, I just figured it would be covered up with hunters...
