That's gonna leave a mark.
Hate it when that happens.

I accidently sprayed some rafters who were sneaking up on my duck hunting spread in Alaska once. They were about 200+ yards off and no one was hurt but it scares you to shoot and then hear people yelling. Crazy thing is they knew we were there and didn't let us know they were coming. We had been shooting for a while when they approached. They thought it would be fun to scare us.

I wish they would have shown the dad with his jacked up face! Why would he go around on the side of the hunters without telling them ? thats dumb

I have no idea why someone would try to scare someone with a loaded gun in their hand.

I did not hit him. And he was supposed to be in the car to pick us up.

It's always fun till somebody gets hurt. Careful, you could put an eye out with that thing. I was moose hunting with a partner on the Penny River outside of Nome, Alaska. We jumped a cow and young bull moose off the river and he called the bull back into shooting range. I had a perfect shot at the bull at about 150 yards and had already flipped the safety off. I wondered where my buddy was just for safety and then saw him in my scope between me and the bull. Things can get scary and squirrelly when you are hunting. It always pays to keep a cool head and think safety first. I really had a good view of him shooting that bull.

I almost shot my best friend one day when we were hog hunting. We were walking through a field and came up to some trees and we went around them and there were around 10 hogs and they took off running. I was watching them and trying to pick one out and I looked to my side and my brother and friend were beside me. I pulled my rifle up and looked through my scope and put it on the hog and was fixing to pull the hammer back on my 3030 when I saw my friends head in my scope. I said what are you doing and he had taken a step to get a better shot. That scared the crap out of me, Killing something isnt that important to me. I will let whoever Im with shoot first if they want to that bad.

I have to agree with you on that one Jon. When I hunt with a group we set out very specific areas to hunt, directions to shoot and do not stray from them. I kill animals because that is part of hunting but injuring or killing your partner is not part of any game plan. I have quit hunting with some folks back in High School because they could not walk a straight line quail hunting.

That is crazy. I was rabbit hunting a few years ago and was standing in the atv trail. A couple of the guys I was hunting with were standing to my right on a fence row with some cedars seperating us. The rabbit was coming with the dogs in pursuit. I knew the rabbit was going to cross the trail in front of me and had taken my safety off getting prepared. Well, here comes the rabbit, I shoulder my shotgun and put the bead on the rabbit, one of the guys I had just met jumps right out in front of me. Good thing I saw his movement and didnt squeeze the trigger. It would have been nasty. He was about 5ft in front of me.

I have a good one. Once upon a time I was out shooting birds with some "random dude" and he was behind me and I heard a shot. When I turned around he was really pale and said "I THINK I JUST SHOT MYSELF IN THE FOOT" well I looked down at his military boot and it had the most perfect little hole right in the middle of it. So i said "so you did" Then he threw the 22 rifle in the air like a girl and then runnoft back up to grandmas house. ( If you have never seen a guy that is shot in the foot running across a muddy field trying to keep the toes of their injured foot off the ground. Well your missin out let me tell you) He shot his middle metatarsal in half and the bullet went right on through . He recovered physically but most would agree he has never been right in the head since. The morals of the story are: 1- don't modify safety on gun with piece of clothes hanger. 2- If you shoot yourself don't be girlie about it. It will come up again. 3- Always leave your buddies laughing at your flight for assistance. Seriously though muzzle awareness is always important.

I played BB Gun wars with a neighbor kid who shot me in the B(^$ with a Sheridan Blue Streak Pellet gun. Went Through my blue jeans pocket and into my right cheek. That smarts. You try digging a pellet out of your B&%% and sitting at the table normally enough so that your parents won't ask questions. Broke me of stupid gun tricks.
