Still looks cool. (I made a 3 legged coyote last year, took his front rigt leg of with the bow, finished him off a few days later, though.)

It was only about 30 yrds but she was running. She came out from behind me and walked under my treestand. when she got to where I came in she could smell where I had just walked and looked right toward my stand and took off running.

I smashed a coyote with my truck yesterday. Didn't leave much for a picture, though. He was nasty looking and only had a few hairs on his whole body. Naked mole-rat-coyote I guess.

I haven't shot any recently, but I see several a week. The majority of them look very healthy, and haven't starting losing their winter coat yet.

I only shot something's leg off one time, and it was with a bow at over 60 yards. The other dozen or so you speak of were clean misses.
